• TRP Lessons Learned

    TRP Reports

The TRP reports provide detailed information on (i) TRP's funding recommendations (ii) a summary of the Secretariat process to determine eligibility, and (iii) the TRP membership and the review methodology of the funding request. Importantly, the reports present the TRP’s recommendations and lessons learned from the review of each funding window.

The TRP provides lessons learned and recommendations on the overall review process, the technical quality of proposals specific each of the revision criteria (soundness of approach; feasibility; potential for sustainability and impact; and value for money), and those specific to disease components and health systems strengthening.

Recommendations are made to the Board, the Secretariat, technical partners and applicants. It is important that applicants consult the TRP's recommendations in these reports as these could be useful for developing a funding request (concept note) in the future.

    Written feedback to applicants

The TRP provides its comments in writing to applicants. It is the most comprehensive feedback an applicant will receive from the TRP regarding a funding request. The TRP will outline the overall recommendation and the main strengths and weaknesses for each component, and will request clarifications from applicants recommended for funding.
